An inclusive mainstream primary school are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support their brand new SEMH provision within their setting. You will be working alongside an SEMH Teacher, as well as another SEMH Teaching Assistant, supporting a small group of children with SEND with their academic and emotional development. You will be joining the schools mission in helping to create a calm and inclusive space by building positive relationships with the learners and supporting each unique learning journey, ensuring all children have equal opportunities to achieve their potential. This role would suit someone who is patient, resilient and committed to helping children grow in confidence. No two days are the same, you will find fulfillment within each small success or big milestone.

Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils.

Providing one-to-one and small group mentoring.

Supporting pupils to regulate emotions and manage behaviour positively.

Promoting engagement with learning through encouragement and tailored strategies.

Recording progress and contributing to individual support plans.
