SEND Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon
Are you looking for a new role as a SEND Teaching Assistant in Ickenham, Uxbridge? If so, this may be the perfect role for you. Parker Smith Inclusion are working alongside a 'Good' SEND School who are seeking to appoint an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a mixed secondary class of KS3 and KS4 students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). This will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately with the opportunity to go permanent upon review. The daily rate will range from £90 to £100 PAYE dependent on your experience.

Supports children and young people with a range of SEND, including autism, learning difficulties, and physical or sensory needs

Emphasises inclusion, wellbeing, and preparation for adulthood, working closely with families and specialist services
About the role:

£90 to £100 PAYE per day, dependant on experience

Mixed secondary class of KS3 and KS4 students

Supporting students with PMLD on a 1:1 basis

Assisting with personal care (feeding, changing, toileting)

Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate:

Available full-time, 5 days a week

Be able to work from 08:30 am to 04:00 pm

Able to support students with PMLD and additional needs

Comfortable with personal care

Previous experience supporting students with SEN in a personal or professional setting

Patient and calm with a positive and proactive approach to learning
