SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunities – Barnet
We are currently looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in schools across Barnet. This is a highly rewarding role where you will help pupils build confidence, develop new skills and reach their potential in a supportive learning environment.
Whether you already have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or learning difficulties, or you simply have a nurturing nature and a genuine desire to help young people thrive, we would love to hear from you.
The role will involve:
- Supporting pupils with additional needs within the classroom
- Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support
- Encouraging independence, confidence and social development
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a patient, positive and empathetic approach
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
- Communicates well and works effectively as part of a team
- Has experience in education, care, youth work or support roles (desirable but not essential)
