There are some roles where you support learning…
And there are roles where you change the way a child experiences the world.

This is one of those roles.

We are working with a truly special, purpose-built SEND provision supporting children and young people aged 3–19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Every element of this setting has been carefully designed to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where pupils feel secure, understood, and ready to learn.

This is a school where the child is always at the centre. Learning is highly personalised, relationships come first, and staff are genuinely passionate about helping every pupil thrive in their own way.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, tailored to their individual needs
  • Helping to develop communication, literacy, and numeracy in creative and accessible ways
  • Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver personalised learning and care
  • Providing personal and intimate care where required, always with dignity and respect
  • Creating a calm, consistent, and engaging environment where every pupil can feel safe

Who would this suit?

  • Someone who leads with empathy and patience
  • A natural relationship-builder who enjoys working closely with young people
  • Someone who is curious, reflective, and keen to develop within SEND
  • A team player who values collaboration and support

What’s on offer?

  • Ongoing training and opportunities to develop your skillset
  • A genuinely supportive and welcoming team
  • A setting where staff wellbeing is prioritised
  • The opportunity to build a long-term, meaningful career in SEND
