We're a SEND specialist consultancy that works with schools across London supporting them with their most complex needs students, as we know SEND needs are higher than ever meaning that schools need exceptional staff to support these learners. As you develop into your role you'll be given further training and hands-on knowledge to up-skill yourself, with pathways to becoming a SEND teacher also on offer in some schools we work with!
To be a fantastic SEND Teaching Assistant you need to be reliable, efficient, positive, friendly, pro-active and have personal or professional experience of SEND.
Experience with special needs such as;
- Autism
- ADHD
- Learning difficulties
- Speech & Language
- Non-verbal ASC
- Social emotional & mental health needs
- Cognitive delays
- Physical disabilities
If you have training in any of the following that would be even more of a benefit;
- Personal Care
- Manual handling
- Hoisting
- Peg Feeding
- Sensory stories
- British Sign Language
- Makaton
- First Aid
