Parker Smith Inclusion are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Harlow looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.
This is a role where relationships really matter. You'll be helping children access learning, build confidence and develop the skills they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and the wider school team to support children with a range of additional needs.
Your role could include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support

Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, communication needs and SEMH

Helping children stay engaged and focused during lessons

Adapting activities to support different learning styles

Supporting social skills, communication and emotional regulation
-
Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
-
Building positive, trusting relationships with children and families
-
Working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide consistent support
No two days will be the same, but every day will give you the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
About You
Experience supporting children with SEND is always valuable, but it isn't essential.
