A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge with a SEND provision, seeking a SEND LSA to join their team within the SEND provision. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo, with the opportunity to implement tailored support strategies, promote positive behaviour, and encourage pupils’ academic, social and emotional development. The role is working predominately with nursery and reception aged children, with time also spent with KS1 and KS2 children. The provision caters for students with hearing impairments, the school uses various communication meaning they provide children with whatever form of language access works best. This includes spoken language, sign language, pictures, gestures and, BSL skills are a welcome bonus for staff, though not essential.
