SEND Teaching Assistant - Barnet
Barnet, North London | £95–£110 per day PAYE | Full-time
Some pupils need more than academic support.
They need someone who can understand how they communicate, what helps them stay regulated and when to step in without taking over.
Parker Smith Inclusion is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for a specialist setting in Barnet.
You will support children or young people with additional needs across the school day, helping them access learning, build confidence and become more independent.
The role
You may be supporting with:
- Classroom learning
- Communication and interaction
- Emotional regulation
- Sensory needs
- Transitions and routines
- Social development
- Independence
- Individual or small-group work
Who are we looking for?
We would particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in:
- SEND
- Autism
- Complex needs
- Learning difficulties
- Care or support work
- Youth work
- Childcare
You will need to be calm, reliable, patient and comfortable adapting your approach to different pupils.
