A mainstream secondary school based in the heart of Tower Hamlets are seeking a specialist teaching assistant to support with their SEND provision with students that are learning below pre-national curriculum, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and require personal care.
Being part of this school means you will have on hand training, and have a clear career pathway to progress within your education career as long as you are proactive, show willingness, have perfect attendance and go above and beyond within your role showing the school your desire and passion for this as your career.
To be considered for this role I am looking for the following;
Experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant within a school setting
- Related Degree to SEND and/or Education
- Experience with autism, learning difficulties, physical disabilities (personal or professional)
- Intervention experience (sensory, behaviour, emotional regulation)
- Strong English & Maths skills
- Fantastic communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Pro-active, willing and reliable
