SLD/PMLD Class Teacher – Hammersmith & Fulham
Full-time | Long-term or Permanent | Immediate or January Start
Are you a passionate, patient, and creative teacher with experience supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)?
We are working with a warm and inclusive special school in Hammersmith & Fulham who are seeking a dedicated SLD/PMLD Class Teacher to join their team.
The Role:

Teach and inspire a small class of pupils with SLD and PMLD, supported by skilled teaching assistants

Plan and deliver highly differentiated, engaging lessons tailored to each child’s needs and EHCP targets

Work closely with therapists, parents, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic progress

Create a nurturing, stimulating classroom environment where every pupil can thrive and feel valued
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

Experience working with SLD, PMLD or complex needs within a special school or SEND setting

A calm, positive and adaptable approach to teaching

Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for inclusive education
