Parker Smith Inclusion is delighted to be working with a specialist all-through SEND school in Sutton that supports children and young people from Primary through to Post-16. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their exceptional team from January 2026.

This school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with a range of complex needs, including:

  • High support needs and 1:1 care requirements

  • Autism (ASC), Complex Needs, and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)

  • Sensory processing differences and sensory-seeking behaviours - biting, hitting, hypersensitivity, echolalia, and more

  • Emotional regulation and communication challenges, struggles with social reasoning, and distress or anxiety when routines are changed unexpectedly.

A key focus of the curriculum is to develop the whole child or young person, supporting them to become as independent as possible, and to gain the skills and knowledge that will prepare them for adulthood and an enriching, fulfilling life.

All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and often work with a team of dedicated professionals, including therapists and support staff, to help them reach their full potential. The school is proud of its trans-disciplinary approach, placing great emphasis on ensuring every pupil feels safe, well, and emotionally regulated, so they can truly achieve their best.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or QTLS (essential)
  • Has experience working with students with complex or high support needs
  • Is nurturing, patient and adaptable
  • Understands sensory regulation and differentiated learning approaches
  • Is passionate about inclusive education and holistic child development

In return, the school offers:

  • A warm, inclusive and collaborative team culture

  • Excellent training and professional development opportunities

  • A well-resourced environment designed for sensory and therapeutic learning

  • Ongoing support from Parker Smith Inclusion throughout your placement

If you are a qualified teacher who is committed to making a real difference and helping every learner thrive, we’d love to hear from you!
