We’re currently recruiting a passionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) for a welcoming and inclusive school in Hounslow, West London. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

The Role
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs

Help children engage in learning, build confidence and develop communication skills

Support teachers with tailored classroom activities and lesson delivery

Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
About You

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, either in a school, care or community setting

Calm, patient and empathetic with a positive attitude

Confident working as part of a team and following guidance from teachers and therapists

Knowledge of Autism, SEMH or communication difficulties is highly desirable

Team Teach, CPI or similar behaviour management training would be an advantage but not essential
