About the school:
- Supportive SEND setting, catering to students with a diagnosis of Autism, SLD, PMLD, complex needs, and speech and language difficulties
- Sensory and trauma-informed practice approach

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be able to:
- Undertake physical support duties, including hoisting and positioning pupils where required, following full training and established safety procedures
- Promote student independence by supporting the development of self-care and life skills, while providing personal and intimate care with the utmost dignity, sensitivity, and respect
- Work collaboratively as an active member of the school community, building strong, professional relationships with students, parents/carers, colleagues, and external partners
- Develop positive, trusting relationships with students, demonstrating empathy, patience, and a clear understanding of their individual needs.
- Deliver tailored support by providing appropriate levels of one-to-one attention, encouragement, and assistance with learning activities to help each student reach their potential
- Support students with mobility needs, including safely assisting and accompanying wheelchair users and those requiring specialist seating systems across the school environment
