Are you an experienced teaching assistant seeking a long term contract with the potential to go permanent?
Do you have experience supporting children with speech & language needs and autism?

A MS Primary School based in East Ham are seeking a special needs teaching assistant to work in a dual role, this means you'd be split across the nursery provision and the mainstream classes supporting children with speech and language challenges. This is a small school that have high standards for their students and staff, therefore I am seeking confident, pro-active, polite and committed candidates to join their team and become part of their trust of schools, you'll be offered progression and learning new things every day!
The ideal candidate will have the following experience on their CV;
- Experience with speech & language
- Experience and ability to deliver speech & language interventions such as; colourful semantics, phonics, bucket time, attention autism
- Hands on experience supporting pupils within a school setting
- Familiar with PECs and Makaton
- Experience with Primary aged and/or EYFS children
- Supported children with needs such as; autism, ADHD, global delay, behaviour challenges
- GCSE/A-Levels, Degrees preferred but not essential
- Level 3 Health & Social Care / TA Qualification - preferred not essential
- Maths & English qualified
