ASC Teacher – Permanent Opportunity
South East London | September Start | Inner London Pay Scale + SEN Allowance

As an experienced teacher, you know that great teaching starts with understanding the child in front of you.

For children with Autism, learning is about far more than academics. It is about communication, confidence, routine, emotional regulation, and helping them navigate a world that can often feel overwhelming. To do that successfully, you need the right environment around you.

This specialist primary SEND school has created exactly that.

Supporting pupils from Early Years through to Primary age, the school provides a highly structured and nurturing environment for children with Autism and complex learning needs. Small class sizes, excellent staff-to-pupil ratios, and a collaborative approach allow teachers to focus on what matters most, helping every child make meaningful progress.

The school has invested heavily in creating an environment where both pupils and staff can thrive. Leaders are approachable, supportive, and genuinely committed to staff wellbeing and professional development. Whether your background is in mainstream or specialist education, you will be supported every step of the way as you develop your SEND expertise.

Teaching here is creative, rewarding, and highly individualised. You'll work alongside experienced support staff and therapists, using structured communication approaches and tailored learning strategies to help pupils engage, communicate, and succeed.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience teaching pupils with Autism or additional needs

  • A patient, reflective, and nurturing approach

  • A passion for inclusive education and personalised learning

  • The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

Working within Autism education is not always easy, but the rewards are immense. Every breakthrough, every new word, every moment of independence has real meaning.

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we believe exceptional teachers deserve exceptional schools. We take the time to understand what matters to you and connect you with settings where you can genuinely flourish.
