A Specialist Opportunity in Secondary SEND

We are supporting a well established specialist secondary school in Havering that works with pupils who have a wide range of additional needs. About the Role

As a Specialist SEND Teacher you will work with pupils who may have autism ADHD speech and language needs SEMH profiles or complex learning difficulties.

Teaching is carefully adapted to ensure accessibility while maintaining high expectations. In this role you will support learners by

Delivering differentiated curriculum content in accessible ways
Supporting functional skills and accredited pathways
Embedding independence and life skills within lessons
Using structured strategies to support behaviour and regulation
Building consistent positive relationships with young people

You will work closely with experienced teaching assistants therapists and leadership to ensure coordinated support for every pupil.
