Are you a specialist teacher that is eager to support a specialist provision from September 2026?
Parker Smith Inclusion are supporting a primary school with a specialist classroom that caters for students that have EHCPs or awaiting funding for their EHCPs, with a diagnosis of autism.
Working within a mainstream setting to support a small class of SEND students, you will bring relevant experience and act as a key driver of specialist knowledge both within the classroom and across the wider school. You will be an advocate for these students, working collaboratively with the SENCo to develop and implement individualised support strategies that meet their needs.
This Primary setting is based in Newham and is easily accessible via transport links and are open to school visits and tours prior to interviews to make sure the setting is the right match for you and for them.
Experience & Qualifications required (r) and desired (d);

QTS, QTLS, TRN number - must have access to certificates (r)

Experience within a SEND school or SEND classroom (r)

Experience with autism, speech & language needs, alternative communication and sensory based teaching curriculum (r)

Knowledge of SEND intervention teaching strategies (r)

Experience with EHCP plans and the processes of SEND funding for students (r)

Confident, passionate and knowledgeable of send educational needs (d)

Punctual, reliable (d)
