We’re looking for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (we’re also open to strong Band 5s ready to step up) to join a permanent multidisciplinary therapy team at a truly inspiring SEND school in the borough of Hillingdon. This is a term-time-only role, offering a fantastic work-life balance. You’ll be working closely with teachers, support staff, and other therapists to ensure every child receives the tailored support they need. Whether you're supporting communication in the classroom, delivering targeted interventions, or empowering staff with training and strategies, your work will make a real impact every single day.
Main Responsibilities:

Conducting detailed assessments and planning personalised interventions

Delivering group and one-to-one therapy sessions

Providing in-class support and working consultatively with teachers and support staff

Creating and delivering engaging, practical training for staff and parents

Supporting curriculum development to embed communication strategies across the school

Maintaining accurate and reflective record-keeping and report writing
About you
-
You’re a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (BSc or MSc), HCPC and RCSLT registered (or working towards it)

You’ve got experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder

You bring a warm, flexible, and collaborative approach to your work

You’re curious, proactive, and love working as part of a multi-disciplinary team

You understand – or are open to learning – about the value of approaches such as ABA
-
You want to grow within a school, not just professionally but as a valued member of a close-knit team
