Are you a SEND teacher with a subject specialism looking for your next opportunity? Perhaps you can teach across the board and are looking for a new setting?
At Parker Smith Inclusion we are partnered with schools across the East London Borough of Newham that will be seeking subject specialist teachers for September. Being a SEND teacher for students that are formal or semi-formal learners with the ability to engage in lessons and are working towards a GCSE, Level 1/2 or ASDAN qualification.
Supporting students with SEND in this environment will take a lot of flexibility, adaptation, patience and resilience. You need to be open to quick changes to meet the needs of the students on that day as well as being creative and engaging in your lessons plans to keep the students attention and avoid distraction.
I'm looking to speak with SEND Teachers for September 2026 immediately to start the process of being onboarded and introduced to schools across East London.
Experience Requirements;
- QTS, QTLS, Level 5 Teaching Qualification
- Experience within a SEND classroom
- Experience supporting SEND students to get a GCSE, Level 1/2 or ASDAN qualification
- Proven ability to adapt learning to meet individual learning needs
- Creative in lesson plans
- Subject specific or open to teaching across the board
