Teacher – SEMH Provision

Enfield

Specialist SEMH & ASC School

MPS + SEN Allowance

January 2026

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs?

We are working with an SEMH and ASC specialist school seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Teacher to join our SEMH provision. This role is unique in that while the provision is based within a secondary school environment, you will be working primarily with children at the primary level.

About the role:

  • Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to pupils with SEMH needs in the primary key stages.

  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments.

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs and promote emotional well-being.

  • Support pupils in developing resilience, confidence, and essential life skills.

  • Engage with families and carers as part of a holistic approach to pupil development.

The requirements for the role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working in SEMH and/or ASC settings.

  • Understanding of the complex needs of children with SEMH.

  • Patient, flexible, and creative with a passion for specialist education.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and inclusion.

What the school offers:

  • Be part of a forward-thinking, supportive school community.

  • Access to specialist training and career development opportunities.

  • Make a meaningful impact on vulnerable children’s lives every day.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

If you are ready to take on a rewarding challenge and support children to thrive in their learning and development, we want to hear from you!
