Teaching Assistant – Complex Needs | Enfield
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Enfield that supports children and young people with complex needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of pupils who require additional support to access learning, develop independence and achieve their individual goals.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team to provide tailored support both inside and outside the classroom. You will play a key role in helping pupils engage with learning, build confidence and celebrate every achievement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Knowledge of working with pupils with complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties and learnin
- g disabilities
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- A willingness to support with personal care where required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
