Are you a Psychology graduate with a passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs?
Do you have aspirations to become an Educational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech and Language Therapist?
This is an incredible opportunity for a motivated and compassionate Psychology graduate to gain hands-on experience working in a specialist educational setting. Parker Smith Inclusion is working in partnership with special schools across Merton, supporting students aged 4–19 with a range of needs including Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and complex medical needs.
The Role:

Full-time, long-term role (term-time only)

Supporting students with a variety of needs both in and out of the classroom

Working alongside experienced professionals: teachers, therapists, and inclusion staff

Helping students engage with learning, build independence, and develop life skills

Tailored support for students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
About You:
-
A recent Psychology graduate or related field
-
Passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs
-
A calm, patient and empathetic approach
-
A desire to pursue a career in a related field such as educational psychology, clinical psychology, OT or SALT
-
Experience with SEN (personal or professional) is highly desirable but not essential – training is provided!
