Teaching Assistants – Barnet

Are you an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in Barnet? We are recruiting experienced TAs to support a range of primary and secondary schools across the borough.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
✔ Previous school-based experience
✔ Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD or challenging behaviours
✔ A passion for helping young people achieve their full potential
About the Role
You will be working closely with class teachers, SEN teams and pastoral leads to support pupils both in and out of the classroom. Roles may include:

1:1 support for pupils with SEND or SEMH needs

Small-group interventions
-
Classroom based support across core subjects

Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional support strategies
What We’re Looking For

Experience working in a school or supporting children/young people

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

A positive, resilient and patient approach

Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

Availability for full-time work
