Are you a graduate interested in supporting those with additional needs and making a change in young people’s lives?
We are working with a range of fantastic schools in the London borough of Harrow to find Graduate Teaching Assistants to support students with additional needs, this role in particular is to support KS1 students within a Mainstream Primary School each with an individual EHCP (Education Health Care Plan), the students within this school require extra support inside and outside of the classroom, you would need to manage behaviour, re-direct them to their classwork, work on social skills and communication skills, and other general support.
We have different opportunities available to work with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health, students with Autism, students removed from mainstream education, SEND provisions in mainstream schools and students with other needs.
These opportunities are long-term roles and would see you working in a single school of your choosing.
This is a great way to gain experience and make a positive impact on young people’s lives, with opportunities to get training and develop different pathways working within SEND and the education sector.
This is a great way to launch your career and gain valuable experience whilst working in a rewarding role.
Duties, times and training vary depending on what school you are in. However, you will do a trial day before deciding where you want to stay.
This means you will be in the best position for yourself, doing what you are looking for workwise and gaining the experience which is most valuable for what you're pursuing in your career.
You will build bonds with students, provide guidance to them and support them within a classroom environment.
So, if this sounds like the role for you, why not apply today and I will be in contact with you.
