About the Therapeutic School
The school, which will open in January 2025, will specialise in meeting the needs of young people with social-emotional and mental health difficulties and neurodiverse children with SEMH needs.
The school offers a therapeutic, individualised, broad and balanced curriculum. The school is committed to providing a balanced emphasis on their young people's educational, psychological, and social development.
What you can expect as a Teaching Assistant in a therapeutic setting
You will be supporting teaching staff to deliver national curriculum and project-based learning. You will offer educational and emotional support to the young people, focusing on developing them as individuals. You can expect to be part of a school offering exciting curriculum delivery where you will be able to motivate children and young people who face ongoing struggles with education and barriers to learning.
