SEMH Outreach Mentor
London
Immediate Start
£130 PAYE Per Day | Full Time
Some young people do not need another exclusion. They need consistency, trust, and someone who is willing to stay alongside them while they rebuild confidence and reconnect with education.
We are working with a specialist therapeutic outreach provision supporting vulnerable young people across London who are currently unable to access mainstream education. The provision takes a child centred and relationship focused approach, supporting young people through trust, emotional regulation, and meaningful engagement.
The young people supported often present with SEMH and ASC needs alongside complex life experiences including trauma, exploitation, family breakdown, violence, and long term disengagement from education.
As an SEMH Outreach Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting young people to re engage with learning and move towards a more positive and stable future. This is highly rewarding relationship based work where progress can begin with a simple conversation or a young person starting to feel safe with a trusted adult.
