Your Role
As a teacher in a specialist setting, you will:

Deliver engaging, well-sequenced lessons across the curriculum (primary) or in your subject specialism (secondary)

Support pupils with SEMH needs and associated SEND, helping them re-engage with learning

Build strong, consistent relationships as a trusted adult

Create a calm, structured, and safe learning environment

Work closely with therapists and specialist staff as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Track academic and emotional progress and celebrate pupil success
Who We’re Looking For
You will be:

An unqualified, trainee, or aspiring teacher (degree required for primary and secondary positions)

Passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs

Resilient, reflective, and emotionally intelligent

Confident in managing behaviour through empathy, structure, and consistency

Motivated by progress, relationships, and long-term outcomes
Experience in a specialist, SEMH, PRU, or alternative provision setting is desirable, but mainstream teachers looking for a more fulfilling role are strongly encouraged to apply.
