A welcoming and inclusive junior school in Barnet are seeking an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within a mainstream setting. The Role

This is an active, classroom-based role where you will be involved, engaged, and learning every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND in the classroom
  • One-to-one and small group intervention work
  • Supporting emotional regulation, focus, and engagement
  • Assisting with learning across the curriculum
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Providing reassurance, structure, and consistency
  • Supporting pupils during transitions and unstructured times

This role requires patience, emotional intelligence, and a genuine interest in child development and inclusive education.
