A mainstream junior school in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs.

This role is suitable for someone looking to gain hands-on experience supporting children with SEND in a structured school environment.

The Role

This is a classroom-based role supporting pupils throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting pupils with SEND in class

• One-to-one and small group support

• Supporting emotional regulation and engagement

• Assisting with learning across the curriculum

• Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO

• Supporting pupils during transitions and unstructured times

Person Specification

This role would suit someone who:

• Is a graduate (any subject) or has relevant personal experience

• Is reliable, calm, and willing to learn

• Has an interest in education, SEND, or child development

• Is seeking long-term experience in a school setting
