£90 to £95 per day (PAYE)
Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
Full-time, long-term to permanent contract (term-time only)

In this Teaching Assistant role, you will be placed in one of our partner schools across Brent, including areas such as Wembley, Willesden, Harlesden, Kilburn, Neasden, and surrounding locations. You will be supporting children and young adults with:

Autism
Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD – SLD)
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
Complex communication and/or sensory needs

What does the role look like?

You will be part of a small class setting with no more than 8 students, supported by 2 to 3 adults, where teamwork is essential.

Your day will involve:

Supporting students through sensory and play-based learning
Helping children communicate, explore, and regulate in their own way
Assisting with daily routines and personal care when required
Working alongside teachers, therapists, and experienced SEN staff
Celebrating progress that may seem small on paper but is huge in real life

Who is this role for?

You do not need formal qualifications, but you must have the right mindset and attitude to support individuals with special needs. People who typically do well in this role often have:

A background in childcare, psychology, or health and social care
Experience in care or support work with children or adults
Personal experience or interest in SEND
