As a Science Teacher, you know that great teaching is about more than delivering content. It’s about finding ways to engage students, spark curiosity, and build confidence in learners who may have previously struggled to connect with education.

This is a unique opportunity to support students within a specialist online education setting, teaching young people who require a more personalised approach to learning.

Many of the students you’ll work with have experienced significant barriers to education, including SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, autism, ADHD, or disrupted school journeys. For them, traditional classrooms haven't always been the right fit. That's where you come in.

The Role

We are seeking an engaging and adaptable Science Teacher to join a specialist online provision until the end of the summer term.

You will deliver virtual Science lessons to secondary-aged students, creating an environment where learners feel supported, challenged, and able to achieve success from wherever they are learning.

Class sizes are small, allowing you to focus on individual needs, build meaningful relationships, and tailor your teaching to maximise engagement and progress.

Who We're Looking For

  • Qualified Science Teacher (QTS desirable)

  • Experience teaching Science at secondary level

  • Confident using online learning platforms

  • Experience supporting SEND, SEMH, ASC, or anxious learners is beneficial

  • Patient, resilient, and creative in your approach to teaching

  • Able to build positive relationships through a virtual learning environment

Why Apply?

The team is passionate about ensuring every student has access to high-quality education, regardless of the challenges they may face. Staff are supportive, collaborative, and committed to helping young people achieve outcomes they may never have thought possible.

For the right teacher, this is an opportunity to have a genuine impact in a short period of time.

At Parker Smith Inclusion, we understand that the right environment allows teachers to do their best work. We work closely with specialist provisions that value their staff and provide the support needed to make a lasting difference.

If you're looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity until the end of the summer term, we'd love to hear from you.
