Parker Smith Inclusion is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Thurrock that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil on a 1:1 basis.
The pupil is non-verbal and has a diagnosis of Autism. They are a bright and engaging child who requires consistent support throughout the day. The successful candidate will be confident supporting behaviour, able to think on their feet, and comfortable working with a pupil who can be a runner when dysregulated.
The school is looking for someone who can build a positive relationship, remain calm under pressure, and provide a safe, nurturing environment where the pupil can thrive.
