Parker Smith Inclusion is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Thurrock that is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their Year 5 team.
This role will involve providing general classroom support while also assisting five pupils with additional SEND needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider support team to help create an engaging and positive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
The school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to helping pupils succeed both academically and socially.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with primary-aged children
- Have an understanding of SEND and inclusive practice
- Be proactive and willing to support across the classroom
- Be a positive role model for pupils
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
