We here at Parker Smith Inclusion are working with an independent school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets that has been newly refurbished boasting a brand new building. This school caters for young people that are not able to access mainstream school due to being temporarily or permanently excluded. They learn functional skills but also have the opportunity to express their emotions through creativity including music, they have a sound proof music studio on site and all children have a apple computer to be able to work efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Youth/Behaviour Mentor or SEMH Teaching Assistant or similar role
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills with the ability to engage and motivate young people.
- Commit to supporting vulnerable young people in achieving their full potential.
- Adaptable and capable of handling diverse responsibilities in a dynamic school environment.
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
