Not every student walks into school believing they belong there. At this school, many of the young people have faced barriers that have made education feel overwhelming, frustrating or even impossible at times. Some arrive feeling misunderstood, others unsure of their place in a classroom.
But with you around them, everything can change.
Role: Youth Support Worker
Location: Greenwich
Full-time Permanent Position
Salary - £20,496.00 - £26.072.00
At Parker Smith Inclusion, we are working with a SEND School to find someone who understands that the most powerful tool in education isn’t just knowledge, it’s connection.
This is a role for someone who wants to be more than support staff. It’s for someone who wants to be the person a young person remembers years later, the adult who didn’t give up on them when things were difficult.
As a Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students rediscover confidence in themselves and in learning. Your day will involve working closely with pupils who need guidance, encouragement and a steady presence to help them navigate the school day.
This position suits people who are patient, empathetic and resilient. The students need adults who stay calm, consistent and compassionate, even when things feel challenging. Or you may simply be someone with the right mindset and a genuine desire to help young people succeed.
If you’re ready to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s life, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today by contacting luke.conner@psinclusion.co.uk or call us on 0203 011 4848 to find out more about this role.
